January - Quilt Tops

This one was so much fun - Bonnie Hunter's Christmas Mystery Quilt. Only I made it half the suggested size.

I made this one from some work started by someone else.  There were not enough of any one set of nine patches for the border so I improvised

This was made from some very wild material.  It was my first attempt at piecing 60 degree triangles like this.


I have been working on this one for a long time.  I finally finished it .  Made totally from "strings" of left over fabric.



And finally another log cabin. This with a tiny set of lighthouses in the center.

I am a little behind in posting since moving again.  These are the charity quilts I have completed since moving here. I had been working on these two for a long time - those are two inch half square triangles. This was made from a kit for my new local guild. The three following were reworks of partial quilts picked up at a garage sale.  I finished and donated these. And below is my latest for my new group that quilts for veterans.
